Days Since Date ("we", "the site") is operated by Photon Technology International LLC, 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE, United States. This policy explains what happens to information when you use dayssincedate.com.

The short version

Every countdown, converter and alarm on this site runs in your browser. The dates and times you enter are not transmitted to us, not written to a database, and not stored after you close the page. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not sell data.

What we collect

• Information you enter. Dates, times and alarm settings are processed entirely on your device by JavaScript. They never reach our servers.
• Server logs. Like nearly all websites, our host records requests, including IP address, browser user agent, referring page and timestamp. These are used for security and to diagnose faults, and are retained for a limited period.
• Analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and understand which pages are useful. It reports aggregate figures and is not used to identify individuals.

What we do not collect

• We do not require or store names, email addresses or passwords.
• We do not build advertising profiles ourselves.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Cookies and local storage

The site works without cookies. Analytics may set a cookie or use local storage to avoid double-counting a visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the countdowns and converters will continue to work. Our cookie policy has the detail.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, to object to processing, or to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not operate accounts, we usually hold nothing that identifies you beyond short-lived server logs. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Residents of California have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know and the right to opt out; we do not sell personal information as those laws define it.

Third parties

We rely on a hosting provider to serve these pages, and on an analytics provider. Each processes data under its own terms. We do not pass information to anyone else.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
